Bex is an outstanding visual storyteller who creates award-winning work. reflecting the thought and consideration she puts into developing her shots, be they photos or videos. She is excellent at establishing relationships with her subjects, enabling them to feel at ease, thus ensuring we had a better end product.

She also brings excellent process and methodology to her work. During her time with NIWA, she initiated projects to better enable us to use visual imagery in telling our science stories. These included revamping our image library and video archive, and leading the development of a key project, the visual asset archiving on our largest site - a mammoth task.
